Six young local hip-hop dancers take a fresh approach to the techniques of popping, locking and boogaloo in an original show that investigates our relationship with work. Choreographer Ben Fury, a contemporary dancer who draws from a wide variety of influences, was in residence from October 2017 to September 2018 with young urban dancers from Marseille. They will be presenting the result of their choreographic journey in the heart of the city.
The Cities on the Edge project was initiated in 2017 by the Goethe-Institut and supported in Marseille by La Friche la Belle de Mai and the Festival de Marseille.
