THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

AWI LEWIS ET NAOMI KLEIN

cinema

New York / Toronto

Everything can change! This is the message of these Canadian and American filmmakers who see the climate crisis as the best chance we have to build a better world. Narrated by Naomi Klein.

The Festival de Marseille and L’Alhambra present This Changes Everything by Ali Lewis, who made the hard-hitting The Take in 2004, and journalist, essayist and politically engaged filmmaker Naomi Klein. The film pulls no punches and asks: What if fighting climate change is the best chance we will ever have to build a better world? It describes several communities in areas coping with economic and climatic problems: from the Powder River Basin in Montana to the tar sands of Alberta and from the Southern coast of India to Beijing. Filmed in nine countries and 5 continents over a period of 4 years, this rich documentary is a wake-up call on the urgent need to change our failed economic system and to invent a new model.
