An accessible Festival

The Festival de Marseille is outstanding for the quantity and diversity of its access facilities. In 2019 we remain true to our commitment to encourage the participation of disabled people in the cultural life of the city, and to raise public awareness of disability-related issues.

INCLUSIVE WORKSHOPS

To bring as much diversity and inclusion to the Rite of Spring, dancer and choreographer Andrew Graham ran more than sixty hours of dance workshops between January and June with groups including disabled people, in particular a group of young people on the autistic spectrum, as well as an “integrated” group open to both disabled and non-disabled participants.
