Feda Wardak

An Afghan-French artist and architect, Feda Wardak describes himself as a “builder and architect” and takes an interest in the organisational models of certain communities that develop independently of public authorities. He creates monumental landscape works, makes films, produces performances and choreographic pieces, leads artistic workshops, and establishes learning spaces.

A graduate of ENSA Paris-Belleville, where he now teaches, after completing his studies Feda Wardak founded Aman Iwan, an editorial platform that allows him to write about architecture, urban planning and territorial development from an international perspective incorporating decolonial thinking, extractivism and imperialism. In Afghanistan, he conducts research in the district of Jeghatu and works with local artisans to preserve and pass on practices that are under threat of disappearing.

In France, he focuses on the inconsistencies linked to the development of certain territories engaged in processes of urban renewal and seeks to narrate the forms of violence that shape these environments. His artistic projects are grounded in what he calls an “economic project”: using the project itself as a lever for job creation, the opening of training spaces, and the sharing of knowledge and skills.

His work has been presented, among other venues, at the Venice Architecture Biennale, MAC VAL in Vitry-sur-Seine, Ateliers Médicis in Clichy-sous-Bois, the Dhaka Art Summit, La Condition Publique in Roubaix, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the Lagos Biennial, the Centre d’art Les Églises in Chelles, La Contemporaine – Triennale de Nîmes, and the Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art. It will soon be presented at the Fondation Cartier in Paris, the Public Art Munich festival, and the Berlin Academy of Arts.

Saïdo Lehlouh

A dancer and choreographer well-versed in street performance, Saïdo Lehlouh highlights the sincerity and fluidity of hip-hop in his creations. The notion of the group has defined his work from the very beginning, and in the 2000s he helped leave a lasting mark on the history of b-boying through the Bad Trip Crew.

Also known as “Darwin,” Saïdo Lehlouh has been part of the hip-hop scene since the age of 15. He explores and brings beyond competition contexts the distinctive “touch” of French breakers—close to feline movement—first with Wild Cat in 2014 and then with Apaches in 2018.

Placing the notion of otherness at the centre of his work, he founded the Black Sheep company alongside Johanna Faye and co-created the performances Iskio (2015), Fact (2017), and Earthbound (2021), in which live original music coexists with a diverse cast.

In 2024, Saïdo Lehlouh presented Témoin, based on a protocol of choreographic collaborations and formal research retracing the intersections of self-taught performers with strong identities. He is a member of the FAIR·E collective, co-director of the National Choreographic Centre of Rennes and Brittany, and an associated artist at Théâtre de la Ville in Paris.

Deena Abdelwahed

A Tunisian producer, composer, and DJ based in France since the age of 26, Deena Abdelwahed moves between club culture, stage creation and instrumental research.

In 2025, she composed the soundtrack for Magec / The Desert by Radouan Mriziga and continued her research at IRCAM, where she develops new MIDI instruments, including a MIDI qanun, starting from the observation that electronic devices available on the market lack the nuances essential to Arabic music. In 2023, she released her second album Jbal Rrsas (InFiné), an exploration of the topographies of Arabic dance music, acclaimed by Pitchfork, The Guardian and The Wire. That same year, she composed the original scores for the play Flagranti by Essia Jaïbi and the short film Daw by Samir Ramdani, with whom she later collaborated on the thriller La Hogra. Her first album Khonnar (2018) and the EP Klabb (2017, InFiné) had already been praised by the international press, following her collaboration on Fever Ray’s second album. Trained on the Tunisian alternative scene (World Full Of Bass, Arabstazy), her hybrid DJ sets have taken her from Berghain to Glastonbury and from Dekmantel to Sonar.
