A present from the past tells the story of a family, but it's also a story about cinema and, above all else, a love story. Father and daughter set off with just an address, retracing the steps of a love story Mokhtar left behind him more than thirty years ago. Filming with a hidden camera and using old family photos, the filmmaker captures the very essence of a father-daughter relationship.
