This show explores the female condition through the prism of literature (Princess Dramas by Elfriede Jelinek) and real or fictional archetypal figures: Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jackie Kennedy… The biting humour, radicalness and intelligence of this variation in five tableaux offers director Hayet Darwich an opportunity to create avatars based on our fantasies and contradictions. It also challenges the cult of the image and the body, the new face of female alienation. The show has been staged thanks to support from several local authorities.
