Her work has been presented at numerous institutions and festivals around the world, including the Wexner Center for the Arts, Tanz im August, the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, the Festival d’Automne in Paris, the Dias da Dança Festival in Porto, and the Venice Biennale.
Her first solo museum exhibition, Come On In, presented in 2020 at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, invited participation in a journey made up of six different audio-guided choreographies. Designed for museum spaces, it was later presented around the world, including in Portland, Seattle, and Singapore.
Faye Driscoll has also worked as a choreographer for theatre and film, notably for the Broadway production of Straight White Men (2018) by Jean Lee, and for the film Madeline’s Madeline (2018) by Josephine Decker.
Among her recent works are Calving, which premiered in 2022 at Theater Bremen, and Weathering, created in 2023, which received the prestigious Obie Award and the Grand Prix de la Danse in Montreal. Her latest project, Oceanic Feeling, a site-specific performance on Rockaway Beach in New York, premiered in 2024.
Faye Driscoll has received numerous awards, including a Doris Duke Award, a Bessie Award, and a Jacob’s Pillow Artist Award. Her pieces reflect her constant exploration of new artistic languages and advocate for a living, radical, and essential art.
