It’s all a question of energy: dance, song, music, words in the form of mantras. It’s also a question of rebirth. The Flemish composers and musicians Dag Taeldeman and Andrew Van Ostade take their inspiration from David Byrne, Anna Meredith, Talking Heads and Igor Stravinsky, presenting a danced concert with multiple variations. They invent an inimitable musical landscape somewhere between opera, pop and techno, with guitar riffs and all kinds of rhythms driven forward by a permanent heartbeat. The voice of soprano Lies Vandewege and the choreography of Sardinian artist Matteo Sedda transcend it all. The sound is at one with the movements, igniting a “fire of hope” within us and causing a sense of bonding and belonging. With infectious generosity and joy, Spring Is Possible literally carries us into a cathartic experience in search of light at a time when the world is getting darker. A concert-cum-dance show that sets everything ablaze!

Gand / Anvers
Back in 2022, the Belgian collective bodybody took us on a uniquely febrile musical and choreographic journey. With Spring Is Possible, the shared experience feels like an ecstatic, joyful concert focusing on hope and celebrating the joy of togetherness.
