WE ARE LOOKING FOR DANCERS

Nacera Belaza never ceases to question in her creations "the danced gesture" and to nourish her work with the contributions of her double culture. It is in this tireless interrogation that emerged several years ago, the desire for the choreographer to compare her inspiration to the traditional heritage of dance in Algeria, to imagine how this research could lead to a stylistic reinterpretation of traditional dances and contribute to the knowledge and enhancement of astill unknown heritage of dance. These workshops will aim to question both the professional dancer as well as of the amateur "ways of apprehension". The challenge here will be to continue the relationship with the other and to cast a different light on the scene.

Workshops will take place at La Friche la Belle de Mai from April 23th to May 3rd
