Festival de Marseille

with Andrew Graham

Andrew Graham founded the Mixability collective, with help from Marion Di Majo and in partnership with Festival de Marseille. Mixability gathers 27 disabled and non-disabled dancers of different ages and coming from various dance backgrounds.

In this inclusive space new encounters arise and each one explores, exists and evolves through movement.

A Franco-bristish Dancer and choreographer now based in Marseille, Andrew Graham worked with renowned artists and companies before joining the London-based inclusive dance company Candoco - which was invited to the Festival in 2015. Andrew Graham took parts to the Rite of Spring in the 2019 edition of the Festival, where his mix-ability dance group joined the 300 marseillais gathered for the project. He led in 2020 a series of inclusive dance workshop which received support from the Festival and whose final result was presented in the fall (Sublimé.e.)

We are sharing below a film from Laura Taubman featuring the inclusive program Andrew organized in october 2020 for the Biennale Manifesta13.
